Chinese Sausage Bits1 pound bulk pork sausage In a bowl, combine sausage, egg and bread cubes. Use a teaspoon to form small balls. Melt butter in frying pan. Cook balls evenly until brown; drain on paper towels. In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place balls in a chafing dish; cover with sauce. Serve with wooden picks. Yields 20 to 25 appetizers. |
